After dealing with some less-than-ideal travel adversities on their newly infamous trip to NorCal, the Westcliff women's soccer team showed no interest in playing nice on the road Friday night in Vallejo.
The Warriors rolled past Cal Maritime, 10-0, to remain unbeaten in conference play.
The scoring barrage started early and never slowed.
Samantha Aguila opened the account in the seventh minute, followed by Lauren Lizarraga's strike inside the box to make it 2-0.
Brianna Mejia converted twice before halftime, while Valery Cruz unleashed a 25-yard shot and Jordyn Gather scored back-to-back goals just before the break.
Jysabella Tolentino added one of her own in the 45th to put Westcliff ahead 8-0 at halftime.
The Warriors added two more in the second half, including a one-timer from Gabriella Arredondo off a corner and an insurance finish from Isabella Bottero.
Mejia was named Player of the Match after her two-goal, high-energy performance, but the attack was spread across the roster with nine different Warriors recording either a goal or assist.
Westcliff's defense was equally dominant, holding the Keelhaulers to just two shots and keeping goalkeepers Edith Antolino and Kayli Cokley largely untested.
Head coach Jack Gidney praised the complete effort, noting the team "handled themselves professionally" and "never really looked back" once they found their rhythm.
With the win, Westcliff improves to 9-1-1 overall and 2-0 in Cal Pac play.
The Warriors continue Sunday at 3 p.m. as they look to keep conference momentum building at Pacific Union.
