He joined our program after serving on the University of La Verne softball coaching staff from 2022 to 2023 as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, where he worked extensively with pitchers, catchers, and hitters.
In his first season as Head Coach of the Warriors (2023–2024), Wallace led the team to another postseason appearance and a #2 finish in the Cal Pac Conference. His accomplishments that season included:
-

In his second season, Coach Wallace guided the Warriors to another remarkable 8-0 run, including back-to-back upsets over nationally ranked Hope University to secure a playoff berth. The Warriors advanced to the conference championship game in Georgia. Academically, the team posted a department-best 3.59 GPA, leading all athletic programs at Westcliff University for both semesters.
Prior to joining Westcliff, Wallace served as the Lead Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Cal State San Bernardino (2019–2022). His responsibilities included overseeing academic progress, practice planning, infield and hitting development, and directing prospect camps.
From 2020–2021, Wallace was the Director of Operations for the American Athletics organization and Head Coach of the 18U Premier Team. Under his leadership, several players earned college scholarships. He left in the summer of 2021 to return full-time to collegiate coaching.
Between 2016–2019, Wallace was the Lead Assistant and Recruiting Coordinator at Fullerton College, where he also worked with infielders and hitters.
From 2015–2020, Wallace played a significant role in the travel ball circuit, coaching various age groups (14U, 16U, 18U Gold) with the Cal A’s under the Wallace name. Many of his players advanced to compete at the collegiate level, from NCAA Division I to NAIA.
In the summer of 2016, Wallace served as an Assistant Coach with the Cal A’s USA Select Team, which competed against Japan’s Denso National Team.
