Cedrick Middleton is a dedicated personal trainer/strength and conditioning coach with a passion and drive to improve the health and skills of players. Middleton, for the past 10 years, has worked on and off the court with NBA and NFL players to help improve their skills with speed, footwork, and overall athleticism in their respective sport. He has also worked across multiple sports to help prepare players to compete at the higher level. Middleton helps motivate and inspire individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Middleton spent some years as a strength and conditioning coach in the Philippines as a coach for Hogs Breath (a D-league team for the Philippines Basketball Association). During that time Middleton helped design workouts to correlate to match the skills and the necessary improvements for each individual player.
Before his time as a coach, Middleton was a Division 1 athlete with the University of Akron Men’s Basketball team. He spent some time after graduation as a Grad Assistant with the program. Following his time with the Akron Men’s Basketball program, Coach Middleton spent a season overseas as a Professional Basketball Player in Finland.
Coach Middleton has his BA in Communications, along with a MS in Physical Education-Sports Science and Coaching, and a Master of Exercise Physiology and Adult Fitness at the University of Akron.
