Associate Men's Basketball Coach, Jerred Cook, is working hard to ensure that next year's team is nothing short of phenomenal. Athletic Director, Shawn Harris, explained that the Warrior's mantra for 2020 is "Be Phenomenal or Be Forgotten". Cook's dedication to recruiting and developing these young men shows that he is living this mantra.
As an Assistant Player Development Coach to Rico Hines (Sacramento King's Player Developmental Coach), Cook has worked with many college and NBA players to help enhance their development and overall skill set. Some of the players include Montrezl Harrell, Thomas Bryant, and 2018-2019 Most Improved Player Pascal Siakam.
Even through this time of transition, Cook focuses on the day to day and says it's "business as usual. We're looking to solidify the culture with guys who are highly motivated and embody the 5C's (Character, Culture, Community, Commitment, and Championships), and who want to be a part of something big."
With Cook's enthusiasm for the betterment of the team as a whole, he guarantees that Warrior Basketball in its upcoming season will not be forgotten.
