Coach Patty Medina Invited to Join Staff at the “Tu Futuro Basketball Elite Camp” in Queretaro, Mexico

Irvine, Calif. – One of Coach Patty Medina’s goals this inaugural season has been to “put Westcliff on the map” but she never would have imagined that one of those opportunities would come from her birth country, Mexico. Medina has been invited to be one of the coaches on staff for the annual “Tu Futuro Basketball Elite Camp.”

The camp will take place from March 20th thru 24th in Mexico City at ITESM Campus Estado de México. Tu Futuro Elite Camps aim to create a recruitment system in Mexico by identifying and developing young talent in all regions of the country so that, thanks to their skills, they can aspire to attain a scholarship for undergraduate studies. Coaches at the camp participate in the development of youth by promoting sports and education, as well as, having the opportunity to recruit the local talent.

“Our goal is to guide young talented basketball players within the educational field and contribute to their development in athletics and in life. There will be various coaches adding value and experience within the activities throughout the camp and we are very excited to have Coach Patty share her knowledge with all the participants” said Tu Futuro Basketball General Manager, Josue Ruiz.
